Step 1

Take a few deep breaths and write down something you'd like to work on, call in, or achieve in the next 30 or so days.

Step 2

My favorite part! Research some crystals that represent that goal or intention. You can check out this blog post for resources or try searching for the keyword on my site. You can also look at your crystal collection and see which crystal you are drawn to.

Step 3

Once you've selected your crystal, it's time to cleanse it and get it ready for your new intention. This can be very simple and done in a variety of ways depending on the crystal. If your crystal isn't porous, run it under some water. You can also use bells or chimes (sound can be very cleansing) or hold it above a candle. If you've sourced some ethically, you can also burn palo santo or sage and hold your crystal in the smoke. Selenite is also great for cleansing you can place your crystal on top of a selenite stick.

Step 4

Hold your crystal in your hand or close to your head or heart, really whatever feels natural, comfortable and right to you. Think about what you really want to accomplish or call in. Speak kindly and positively to yourself. Be gentle - there is no right or wrong way to do this.

Step 5

Place your crystal somewhere in your home or office where you will see it regularly and be reminded of your goals and intentions for this period of time. Take some time each day just to gaze at it and enjoy its presence and light or hold it in your hand while you take a few deep breaths each morning, noon, and night.

That's it! If you're ready to take the plunge into using crystals for intention setting, my Altar Starter Bundle literally has everything you need for any situation to get started and implement all 5 of these steps.
